API Technologies Corp.Has completed its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Commercial Microwave Technology (CMT). The total purchase price was $8.2 million in cash.

Microwave Marketing, Ltd. and Linwave TechnologyWith the purchase of a 1.5-acre site near Lincoln, UK, work on a new joint headquarters for the two companies has commenced. The facility will initially occupy over 11,000 square feet. Additional land will be retained for further business expansion.

NewNet Communication TechnologiesHas announced plans to acquire the former Motorola Solutions' WiMAX business from Nokia Siemens Networks. Under the terms of the agreement, NewNet would acquire the complete WiMAX product portfolio, the related employees and assets, and all active customer and supplier contracts. The companies expect to close before December 31.

AWR Corp. and AnritsuHas announced the expansion of AWR Connected for Anritsu.The new offering will pair Anritsu's MS269xA/MS2830A signal-analyzer series and MS269xA-002/MS2830A-02x vector-signal-generator option (SA/VSG) hardware with AWR's Visual System Simulator (VSS) communications-system-design software.

Wireless Power Consortium (WPC)Has announced the addition of two new member companies. Huawei and Visteon both joined the WPC in October.

NitronexHas successfully completed qualification of its NRF1 discrete process for volume production at Global Communication Semiconductors (GCS). Under a long-term supply agreement between the two companies, GCS will exclusively provide Nitronex with NRF1 discrete and MMIC foundry services.
