VCO Tunes From 902 To 928 MHz

Jan. 31, 2014
A surface-mount VCO tunes from 902 to 928 MHz with low phase noise.

Suitable for use in digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and cellular base stations, model CVCO25CL-0902-0928 is a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) that tunes from 902 to 928 MHz by means of control voltages from +0.5 to +3.5 VDC. It generates +3-dBm typical output power with excellent linearity and features typical phase noise of -108 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier and -128 dBc/Hz offset 100 kHz from the carrier. Second-harmonic suppression is typically -10 dBc, while pulling and pushing are 0.5 MHz and 0.5 MHz/V, respectively. The VCO, which is supplied in an industry-standard 0.5 × 0.5 in. surface-mount-device (SMD) package, consumes 15 mA maximum current from a +3-VDC supply.
