Phase Shifter Controls 4 To 8 GHz

June 5, 2013
A broadband USB-controlled phase shifter is suitable for beam-forming applications to 8 GHz.

Vaunix Technology Corp. will be on hand at the 2013 IMS at booth No. 2042 to show off its latest phase shifter, model LPS-802. A member of the company’s reliable Lab Brick family of phase shifters, this new model operates from 4 to 8 GHz with outstanding phase accuracy. It controls a full 360-deg. phase range in 1-deg. phase increments across its frequency range. Ideal for phase-modulation and beam-forming applications, the phase shifter can be controlled with the intuitive graphical-user-interface (GUI) software included with each unit. The Lab Brick phase shifter includes a Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface for ease of connection to a personal computer (PC) for control. Model LPS-802, which has a 10-microsecond response time, achieves typical phase adjustment accuracy of ±2.5 deg.
