OCXO Quiets Outputs From 10 To 25 MHz

A compact, low-power OCXO is available for output frequencies from 10 to 25 MHz.

Among the low-noise sources on display at IMS 2014, CTS Corp. (Booth No. 322) is showing its new model 149 oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO), featuring outstanding stability over a frequency range from 10 to 25 MHz. This compact signal source offers stability as good as ±50 ppb from -40 to +85°C with low phase noise of -152 dBc/Hz offset 100 kHz from the carrier. Suitable for use as a reference oscillator in telecommunications and wireless communications systems, the model 149 OCXO consumes less than 1 W power and is supplied in a 9 × 14 mm surface-mount housing. It is available with supply voltage options of +3.3 or +5.0 VDC.
