20-dB Attenuator Extends To 4 GHz

Jack Browne  |  ED Online ID #22452 |  March 11, 2010

Model 766-20 is a bidirectional 20-dB coaxial attenuator from Narda Microwave-East, an L-3 Communications company. It operates from DC to 4 GHz and can handle 20 W average power and 1 kW peak power without damage to either of its Type N connectors, thanks to robust, integral heat sinks. The coaxial attenuator maintains VSWR of less than 1.15:1 and boasts attenuation deviation of only ±0.25 dB to 3 GHz and ±0.50 dB to 4 GHz. The fixed attenuator measures 3.07 x 1.52 in. and weighs 5.6 oz.
