A series of integrated SMD HCMOS TCXOs and VCTCXOs from Fox Electronics come in a miniature 3.2-mm x 2.5-mm package size. The new 3.3-V FOX923CH and FOX923CEH series oscillators eliminate the need for supplementary external circuitry to obtain a HCMOS output. Suited for applications such as RFID readers, utility metering, GPS, and test-and-measurement equipment, these oscillators offer tighter stabilities than traditional oscillators. Stability is ±2.5 ppm over the -30°C to +85°C operating temperature range, ±0.3 ppm over the 3.3-V (±5%) supply voltage, and ±0.2 ppm over the 15-pF load change. Input current is 6 mA, output symmetry is 40% to 60% over a frequency range of 9 MHz to 32 MHz, and typical phase noise ranges from -145 dBc/Hz at a 10-kHz offset to -85 dBc/Hz at a 10-Hz offset. Pricing for a FOX923CH-10.000MHz oscillator is $0.99 per unit in 10,000-piece quantities. Delivery is eight weeks ARO.
