Mini-Circuits has announced the model HJK-212+ surface-mount-technology (SMT) frequency mixer for wide-dynamic-range applications from 1800 to 2100 MHz. The mixer works with local oscillator signals from 1660 to 1960 MHz and +17 dBm to produce intermediate-frequency (IF) signals from 10 to 270 MHz with 6.5 dB typical conversion loss. The input 1-dB compression point is +20 dBm while the typical third- and second-order intercept points are =32 and +63 dBm, respectively. The mixer features 35 dB typical isolation between ports and is supplied in a compact surface-mount package measuring just 0.38 x 0.50 x 0.23 inches. It is priced at $16.95 each in 1 to 9 qty.
