CONTRACTS
Elcoteq SEAnnounced that it has been awarded a multiyear contract by Redline Communications. The agreement with Elcoteq will enable Redline to accelerate production to meet the demand for its RedMAX™ family of WiMAX products and RedCONNEX™ broadband wireless-infrastructure solutions.

Elcoteq will be the primary EMS provider of manufacturing and new-product-introduction (NPI) services for Redline's RedMAX family of WiMAX Forum Certified™ base-station and end-user devices as well as its REDCONNEX backhaul products. Elcoteq will provide low-to-medium volume production, full system integration, and will offer Redline's customers enhanced after-sales service, such as warranty repair and order fulfillment. NPI and manufacturing services will be handles through Elcoteq's NPI center in the USA, and its facility in Juarez, Mexico.

LitePoint Corp.Has completed a round of private equity funding from Sequoia Capital.

Barry IndustriesAnnounced their participation within the Modelithics CLR Library. The Modelithics is the industry's first and only substrate—and part value—scalable surface-mount model library, that now allows designers to de-embed pad parasitic effects, enabling user-specified pad effects to be applied. Barry featured products are scalable resistors with sizes as low as 0405 to 1206.

Hittite Microwave Corp.Has released its first Microwave Modules & Subsystems Catalog, featuring full specifications on 42 microwave components and synthesizers for use in test and measurement, telecom, military, and space applications.

The Hittite Microwave Modules & Subsystems Catalog has been released in conjunction with Hittite's annual full-line catalog, the 2007 Designer's Guide, containing details on all of Hittite's 482 products.
